What We Do
Our water pipeline services cover every stage of the installation process — from initial survey and planning through to commissioning, pressure testing, and handover with full as-built documentation. We work with polyethylene (PE), PVC, and ductile iron pipe systems in sizes ranging from 50mm residential connections up to 450mm trunk mains.
Capabilities
PipeForce crews are certified in PE butt fusion and electrofusion welding — two critical joining methods for modern polyethylene water pipe systems. Every weld is CNC data-logged for full traceability and quality assurance, meeting AS/NZS 4129 and local authority specifications.
Our water pipeline services include new potable water main installation for subdivisions and greenfield developments, watermain upgrades and replacements for ageing infrastructure, rider mains and distribution networks, fire hydrant installation and connection to reticulation networks, pressure testing and commissioning with digital data logging, service connections (tobies) to individual lots, and aerial watermain installations on bridges and elevated structures.
How We Work
Water main construction is precision work — depth of cover, trench conditions, bedding material, and backfill compaction all matter. We follow NZS 4404 and local council specifications to ensure every pipeline installation passes inspection first time. Our experienced crews understand the coordination required when working around existing live services, and we manage shutdowns and connections with minimal disruption to supply.
